General Information

SoftballThe Emerald City Softball Association boasted 46 teams in 2005 – 23 in the Open Division and 23 in the Women’s Division which currently ranks 3rd in N.A.G.A.A.A. for total teams Open and Women’s Division combined.

In the last three years ECSA member teams have brought home World Series Championships. In 2003 the Monarch’s won the Open B Division Championship. Additionally the Firemen brought home the 4th Place trophy in the Open B Division. In 2004 the A Crew from the Women’s Division won the Alternative Division Championship. In 2005 the Blue Sox won the Open C Division Championship and the Brewers took 4th place in that same Division.

SoftballSeattle traditionally sends several teams to tournaments throughout the year. In the 2004-2005 season multiple teams from Seattle traveled to tournaments in the following cities: San Diego, Palm Springs, Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Portland, Chicago and Vancouver BC.

In total Seattle Teams brought home 18 trophies including 8 Championships.
