Capitol Hill Capitol Hill:
Seattle's colorful gay community flourishes atop Capitol Hill, where same-sex couples stroll hand-in-hand along Broadway, the annual Pride Parade draws 100,000 people to Volunteer Park, and bustling gay bars and a vibrant arts scene overrun the Pine/Pike Corridor. There are more then ten gay bars in the Capitol Hill area that all are in walking distance of each other.


Capitol Hill Capitol Hill has long been associated with Seattle's gay and lesbian community, this is the place to go for cutting-edge shops, clubs and people-watching. Great views, great music and a bustling sidewalk scene are magnets, as well as styles ranging from Cosmo-cover glamour to Salvation Army retro-hip.



Volunteer Park Volunteer Park:
Volunteer Park is located in the Heart of Capitol Hill. It is the site of the 1995 World Series Opening Ceremonies. It houses a large Green House that was used in the movie “The Hand that Rocked the Cradle�. From atop its brick lined water tower you have 360 degree views of the surrounding Seattle Area. In its massive lawn areas during summer’s days you can often see lawn Volleyball matches, Frisbee throwing and even some Rugby scrimmages.
